You can borrow quilting and sewing books, videos and DVD’s on all the topics that you’re interested in through our Lending Library! Just like a public library, you’ll be able to borrow a title for an extended period. A small late fee will apply to returns made past their due date, which will be donated to Harvest House in Sussex. This service has been well received and enjoyed by many. “Check it out” next time you’re in! |

Naturally, I want to encourage you to enter a quilt or any other handicraft into the fair. So often, I hear “Oh, my work isn’t that good”. Your work is better than you think! Having your workmanship judged can be very insightful and can help you recognize the areas that might need a bit of practice. If you still don’t want to have your work judged, you can simply enter it as an “Exhibit” and let the many fair-goers appreciate your efforts and see how beautiful your quilt is! (C’mon, how many un-beautiful quilts have YOU seen?) We’ll have entry forms here in the shop, or you can download them from the Fair’s website. As usual, Pieceful Choices Quilt Shop will be offering a special “PCQS Exceptional Workmanship Award” ribbon, as well as a lovely prize to the quilt that we feel is most deserving.
We are excited and proud to be part of such an enjoyable American pastime, and we hope that you’ll be able to come and enjoy all that it has to offer. If nothing else, you’ve GOT to come out and get a bite to eat! My son Justin and I will be putting out our best in the Baking category again this year. Wish us luck!
